I chose to have an African Wild Dog as my main character as they are carnivores at the top of their food chain, making them great for a game about stalking your prey. Living in the Savannah, they have a wide range of prey to feed from giving me plenty of choice on what kind of prey. They form tight bonds with their family assisting in my goal to create large amounts of empathy in my game, making the player want to protect their cute little family. African Wild dogs are also endangered so I hope that including them in the game will help raise awareness Below, I went on multiple reputable websites to gather research on African Wild Dogs so that I can better understand them, making my game more realistic.
